Add an additional BR-30 bulb to your existing Philips hue lighting installation. This 630-lumen LED bulb features a reflective coating on the inside of the bulb that directs light forward, making it great for display lighting, pot lighting, and accent lighting. The BR-30 7W bulb is just as bright as a standard 65W bulb, providing tons of bright light at a fraction of the energy cost.
Once you have installed your Philips hue WiFi Bridge and screwed in your bulbs, it’s time for the fun part. Choose your favorite color schemes, raise or lower light intensity, and control your bulbs all at once or individually all with the Philips hue app. If you want to turn off all the lights in your home without getting out of bed, or want to set a timer to turn on lights, all you have to do is pull out your favorite iOS, Android, Windows phone, and Kindle devices and press a button. If you find yourself having trouble getting up in the morning, these bulbs can also function as alarm clocks, gradually brightening to mimic the rising sun for a gentle wake-up call.
